Berber Blessing

The Tuareg of Southern Morocco create amulets for protection, good fortune and love. These are given as gifts on occasions such as weddings.

The antique silver box pendant in this necklace contains such a blessing, this one for all three. It's incised front is pure silver, the back is white metal. This was purchased in Zagora.
