For months people have been bringing their cast-offs to work through the Suit into Loot project, which offered workers the chance to clear out their wardrobes and make a contribution towards the environment and poor people across the world.
Textile Recycling for Aid and International Development (TRAID) invited designers to rummage through the donations and pull out pieces that could be restyled and redesigned.
Volunteer stylists and designers including seraglia mixed, matched, ripped, cut, sewed and printed items of clothing to give them a new lease of life. The outfits which appeared on the catwalk ranged from comfortable work clothes for dress-down Fridays to party frocks for a night out.
Many items sold on the day, some back to the very people who had donated them. The remainder will be auctioned on eBay soon.
seraglia produced a range of accessories, shown above and on the next few pages.
The show was jointly organised by fashion recycling charity(TRAID) and office park management company Enjoy-Work.
